Funny how it's meant to be a STOPWATCH, but beeps constantly and comes with literally no instructions to turn the chime off 😊
Does a level surface have slope?
No, 0/0
@@apprenticemath The globe believers think it does.
Thank you so much 🙌 🙌
This form of demonstration is one of the best
great explaination! amazing visuals! Thanks for doing this!
What book do you use to identify the tree?
No single resource, Wiki, Farrar book, botanical gardens' sites, state departments' sites
finally NOW i can read the inch side of the caliper and NOW i am very sure that i will NEVER do it.
Awesome teacher, thank you!
Great explain sir.thank you ..
Educational life lessons!
awesome thank you
amazingly easy explained. I sucked at measuring Thank you so much for making so easy for me. I'll recommend this video to everyone struggling with the same thing
❤
Thank you
verry well explained .thank you verry much
The Germans are genius. That's why he explained it very well.
The best explanation so far I've found here in youtube. Thanks for your effort.
Can’t you obtain the length of the rafter by stepping the framing square holding the square on 12 for the run and 7 for the pitch and step it the amount of feet for the run of the building? Instead of figuring out math?
Stepping (bunny hopping) is really imprecise after 5 steps or hops, due to lining up start and finish points accurately repeatedly
just get to the point bro!!!
Thank you for your video. It helped me learn a few things I had never paid attention to until I need to know a size from mm to inches.
Thank you sir! I have been struggling with the imperial scale, but after this video it's crystal clear.
Brilliant! Also by getting a few of those spade drills machined to size, marking the sizes on each drill and storing them in a box ready to go on a job would be an easy way to deal with these offhand sized holes.🐞
Literally less than a 1/32nd, why would he have that machined any closer?
Thanks for this explanation and great clarification. So many web sites push out UTS to metric equivalent conversions, but they don't work.
It was actually 300of1000 plus 14of1000 and not 13 so it's 314of1000 hence .314
Best micrometer tutorial I have seen. It finally "clicked" with this one. Thank you.
Wow....this video FINALLY helped me understand how the hip/jack rafter forces work. It's all just a bunch of triangles, except the hip and jack rafter forces are longer triangles (to fit the structure of course) but at 45 degrees.
10yrs on, and I've just found this and it's very important and useful information. Many thanks if you're still around, and if you are around ...how can i do a similar practical multimeter check for max Amps on different motorcycle accessories (so that i can complete the required formula for finding Watts?
terima kasih pencerahannya...sukses selalu channelnya
Thank you for the video. It really helps. I just surface faced a cast plate and the needle only moves .005".
Thank you very much. I finally understand it now. 🎉
I have got so used to metric after 50 yrs that I was struggling to remember how to add the 128-ths for an order. So many lazy ones just use digital inches (why mix systems?). This was both helpful and easy to follow, thanks.
Explained so much better than my college professor. Much simpler too!
THANKYOU VERYMUCH 😚😚😚😚

Very nice! Helped a lot.
yeah, i'm starting to really love metric.
Great job teaching this old dude old skills.
Great video, to the point, clear and concise. Thank you, you legend. Especially for not telling me to Like and Subscribe... for that, I will.

This person is completely wrong. Order-of-operations relates to evaluating equations. It doesn't apply to anything this he is showing in this video. The video at the link below describes what 'order-of-operations' is about. 6÷2(1+2) = ? Correct Answer Explained By Mathematician ua-cam.com/video/URcUvFIUIhQ/v-deo.html
Exactly. Many people WOULD try order of operations in contexts irrelevant to its intended purpose.
I like your examples. I've never agreed with the various orders of operations. I wrote equations from left to right and followed them that way.
